Attention! Create An Exciting Class Name! |
While there are many theories on what makes a good course title, most people would agree that the purpose of the title is to entice people to read the course description. Whether they're scanning your online catalog, your print catalog or a flyer, people will see the class title before the description. If the title doesn't grab their attention, they may not read the fabulous description you've created.
Obviously there are some classes where it either doesn't make sense, or you don't have the option, to be creative- swim lessons (level 1, level 2, etc), CPR classes (Adult CPR, CPR for the Professional Rescuer, etc), when using trademarked material, etc. But when you do have control over the name, make the most of it.
